Catherine Harrison-Restelli studied Economics at Penn, then spent 5 years in neuroscience research and earned her MD at Weill-Cornell. She completed her intern year in Gynecology-Obstetrics at Johns Hopkins, residency in Psychiatry at the University of Maryland-Sheppard Pratt and Psychosomatic Medicine fellowship at Maryland. Currently, she works in psycho-oncology and women's mental health as Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Maryland. She serves on the national VA Women’s Reproductive Mental Health Initiative committee and is working with the state DHMH on a screening initiative for intimate partner violence.
